He was predeceased by: his parents, Neely V. Broome, Sr. and Mae Latham Broome. He is survived by: his brother Neely V. Broome, Jr.; his wife Shirley Broome; his children, Cora Church (Johnny), Wylie Broome (Marybeth), Eugene Broome and Pamela Jones (Phillip); and his sister-in-law Brenda Broome. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 12 greatgrandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
