She was predeceased by: her parents, James Linwood and Lydia Johnson Knox; her husband William Lee "Bill" Owens; and her sisters, Mildred L. Lynch, Lydia Mae Worls and Martha Lorraine Baker.
She is survived by: her children, Erica A. Moore of Washington, NC and Tom L. Forehand of California, MD; her grandchildren, Brian, Ashlee and Dylan; and her great grandchildren, Aiden and Sophie.
