It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Blount (Edenton, North Carolina), who passed away on October 7, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Charles may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Charles touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
Viewing will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Union Grove AME Zion Church (212 Tyler Ln, Edenton, NC 27944). A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
