He is survived by: his mother Sarah Ethel Rainwater Gregory; his wife Lisa Grizzard Gregory; his stepchildren, Janelle Austin, Joshua Austin and Jordan Austin (Jewel); his stepgrandsons, Aidan Austin, Joy'Siah Austin and Jeremias Austin; and his sisters, Sarah Ann Harrell, Elizabeth Gregory Speight (Ken) and Julie Gregory Rose (Rod).
A reception will be held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Miller & Van Essendelft Funeral Home (735 Virginia Rd, Edenton, NC 27932).
