Debra Sue Waff Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on October 7, 2025, at the age of 74, Debra Sue Waff (Edenton, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul "Edsel" Waff Sr. and Sarah Hollowell Waff; and her brother Paul Edsel Waff Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Jonna Gurganus, Paul Gurganus and Mary Catherine Gurganus Saunders (Sam); and her grandchildren, Gabe St. Pierre-Gurganus, Hope Rahilly, Olivia St. Pierre-Gurganus, Jackson Saunders, Hunter St. Pierre-Gurganus, Brooklyn Saunders and Mila Saunders.
In place of flowers, donations may be made in Debra's memory to the Hope Lodge of Greenville (American Cancer Society), a place of respite that provided her with comfort, dignity, and support throughout much of her cancer journey.
