It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Irene Kinley Deguzman of Edenton, North Carolina, who passed away on November 7, 2021, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Kinley, Sr. and Sadie Rae Wicker Kinley; her sons, Perry Lee Kinley and Helario Kinley DeGuzman; and her siblings, Marion, Lottie, Joan, Sally, Sonny, Jimmy and Billy.

She is survived by: her children, Anna Maria Stanley (Jack White) of Jacksonville, FL, Cynthia Anne Underwood of Norfolk, Joanie Lorraine DeGuzman of Virginia Beach, VA, Tammy DeGuzman Alexander (Billy) of Edenton, Gregory (DeGuzman) and Amado "Eddie" DeGuzman (Yoshie) of Japan. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great-grandchildren.
