Though John Anthony may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those John Anthony touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Anthony Gosser and Inez Nixon Gosser; and his wife Phyllis Bazemore Gosser. He is survived by: his brother Frank Gosser (Hope); his brother-in-law Kenneth Bazemore (Katheryn); and his sibling's children, Brad Gosser, Aaron Bazemore and Carroll Bazemore Pate.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Miller Funeral Home & Crematory (735 Virginia Rd, Edenton, NC 27932). Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Rocky Hock Baptist Church, Center Hill Cross Roads Fire Department, or to the Rocky Hock Ruritan Club.
