She was predeceased by: her parents, John Edward Miller and Gracie Davis Miller; her son Dean W. Copeland; and her siblings, Thomas Miller, J. E. Miller and Lucy H. Byrum.
She is survived by: her son Carroll N. Copeland (Kristy); her sister Sarah Morris; and her grandchildren, Brooke Copeland, Carlton Copeland, Robert Rusbuldt and Evan Copeland (Katelyn). She is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren; and nieces, nephews, cousins and other family and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 29th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Miller Funeral Home & Crematory (735 Virginia Rd, Edenton, NC 27932). A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, October 29th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the same location.
