He was predeceased by: his parents, Gene Wayne Copeland, Sr. and Verlo Joyce Cherry McNamara; his daughter Josie Copeland; and his sister Mona Belcher. He is survived by: his children, Sarah Copeland (Gage Riddick) and Mack Copeland, Jr.; his siblings, Gene Copeland, Jr. (Jenny), Tammy Rhea (Mike), Heather Steckel (Chris) and Kimberly Copeland; and his grandchildren, Kinlynn and Lawson Riddick. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Copeland Family Cemetery (272 Hunters Fork Rd, Tyner, NC 27980).
