She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Ernest Bivens Jr. and Maggie Ruth Johnson Bivens; her stepmother Claudia Bivens; and her siblings, Sheila Bivens, Lee Cooke Jr. and Robert "Ernie" Bivens III.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Casper (Samantha) of Grimesland, Jesse Casper of Edenton and Maggie Casper (Doug Baird) of Edenton; and her grandchildren, Hailee Ann Tade, Coby Lee Harrell, Makayla Sadie Casper and Scylar Rae Ann Casper.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Miller & Van Essendelft Funeral Home & Crematory (735 Virginia Rd, Edenton, NC 27932). A reception will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to any chapter of either the Dementia Society of America or the Alzheimer Association.
