He was predeceased by: his parents, Alice Coleman of Saxe and Thomas Spruill, Sr. of Edenton; and his sister Peaches. He is survived by: his wife Pat H. Spruill; and his brother Keith Spruill. He is also survived by 4 children; 7 grandchildren; and 2 great grandchildren.
