He was predeceased by : his parents, Carey Yates Parrish, Sr. and Beulah Moore Parrish; his siblings, Katherine Mae Parrish, Ralph, Frank and Jimmie Parrish; and his children-in-law, Sue T. Parrish, Fred Clarke and Jimmy Barger.
He is survived by : his wife Mary Julia Harrell Parrish; his grandchildren, Bryant White (Kim), Bonnie Lee (Tommy), Susan Perry (Mike), Mary Joe Parrish, Bess Creswell (Michael), Jennifer Nelson, Kimberly Mauser (John), Carey Parrish IV (Rosanna), Jacob Barger (Megan) and Sarah Girbach (Joey); and his close friend Donna Spivey. He is also survived by 19 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews.
