He is survived by: his significant other Darlene Kinard of Efland, NC; his son David Bergey of Chesapeake, VA; his former wife Elsa Bergey of Chesapeake, VA.; his siblings, James Bergey, Jr. of Chesapeake, VA, Kathy Mast (Dale) of Richmond, VA, Floyd Bergey (Debbie) of Chesapeake, VA, Daniel Bergey (Dorcas) of Moyock, NC, Joy Morris (Mike) of Chesapeake, VA and Lynn Bergey (Lori) of Lancaster, PA.; and his pet Shamrock. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, cherished friends.
