She was predeceased by: her parents, James Neil Maxwell, Sr. and Sarah Ellen Covington Maxwell. She is survived by: her husband Roger Dale Ivey; her daughter Sarah Morgan Ivey; her siblings, James N. Maxwell, Jr. (Jimmy) and Mary Monroe Maxwell Barnett (Jeremy); and her nieces, Shannon, Jordan and Katelyn.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 1:30 PM to 2:45 PM at the Chestnut Ridge United Methodist Church (3505 Chestnut Ridge Church Rd, Efland, NC 27243). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be sent to the Efland Volunteer Fire Department, P. O. Box 39, Efland, NC 27243.
