The memory of Ann S. Morris of Elizabeth City, North Carolina, who passed away on December 4, 2025 at the age of 82, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Tonny Ferrell and Alice Elizabeth Lamb Ferrell; and her sisters, Esther Morrow and Lauretta Hassell. She is survived by: her husband James Morris; her children, Julie S. Bowers, Janet S. Duncan (Greg), Barbara Symons and Lee Morris (Amy); and her grandchildren, Anne Marie Whidbee, Bailey Symons, James Morris and Rachel Bellows (Eric).
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 8th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the Twiford Funeral Homes (405 E Church St, Elizabeth City, NC 27909). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Corinth Baptist Church (1035 Hwy 17, Elizabeth City, NC 27909).
