It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Allen Martin of Elizabeth City, North Carolina, who passed away on October 26, 2025, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Martin and Beatrice Rowland Martin; and his grandson Kyle Martin. He is survived by: his wife Desma Louise Lewis Martin; his children, Jason Martin and Kristen Alva; his sister Jamie Ayscue; and his grandsons, Ethan Martin and Nicholas Gillespie.

A graveside service was held on Friday, October 31st 2025 from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM at the New Hollywood Cemetery (1101 Peartree Rd, Elizabeth City, NC 27909).
