She was predeceased by: her parents, Abner Benton Hunter, Sr. and Lillian Nash Hunter; her husband Robert Perry "R. P." Cooke; and her brothers, A. B. Hunter, Jr. and Steven P. Hunter.
She is survived by: her daughters, Judy C. McCreery (Michael) of Garner and Barbara C. Zeiger (Roger) of Gasburg; her brother Harry Nash Hunter (Kerri) of Daytona Beach, FL; her grandchildren, Ashley McCreery, Scotty McCreery (Gabi) and Morgan Batten; and her great grandchildren, Madison and Avery.
