With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Janet Lee of Elizabeth City, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 20, 2026 at the age of 66. She was predeceased by: her grandchildren, Troyvon N. Eason and Maya Alexander. She is survived by: her daughters, Lakiesha M. Eason (Troy) and Takenya H. Stanley; her grandchildren, Clinesha Turner, GKyla Eason, Jasmine McGill (Leandre) and Jaquan Armstrong; her sister Deniece Overton (Ron Lee) of New Jersey; and her friends, Diane, Kristie, Terry, Vernon, Bruce and Stephanie. She is also survived by three great-grandsons and five great- granddaughters.
