She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Lucius and Eva Copeland Byrum; her husband Wilton Allee Gregory; and her siblings, Hilda Smith, Clarence, Ardell and Raleigh "Buddy" Byrum.
She is survived by: her children, Sheila G. Evans (Raymond "Squirrel") of Elizabeth City, Janet F. Klein (Dan) of South Mills and David W. Gregory (Tracy) of Hertford; her grandchildren, Chris Evans, Cody Gregory, James Klein (Megan), Diane Klein and Amanda Klein; and her great grandchildren, James and Rain Klein.
