Though Mildred may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Mildred leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Narcissua Parker and Clifton Parker; her husband John Hunt; her daughter Hazel Cowell; and her sisters, Esther Lee and Ty Lou.
She is survived by: her son Lorenzo Cooper. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 30th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Twiford Funeral Homes (405 E Church St, Elizabeth City, NC 27909). A memorial service was held on Monday, December 1st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
