It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nicholas Steven Overman (Elizabeth City, North Carolina), who passed away on April 17, 2025, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Dean Overman and Mary Overman; his parents-in-law, Mike and Susan Herring; and his brother-in-law Jon Herring.
He is survived by: his wife Michaelle Herring Overman; his children, Nicholas "Steven" Overman, Jr. (Camille), Beth Stephenson (Blake) and Logan Overman (Savannah); his brother Andy (Cindy); his nephews, Brandon and Cameron Overman; his sister-in-law Shelly Herring; his mother-in-law JoAnn Herring; and his close friends, David and Sharon Bailey.
