It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Ballance (Elizabeth City, North Carolina), who passed away on October 29, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Dan Ballance and Mary Lamb Ballance of Moyock, NC; his wife Lena Tarkington Ballance; his son Ricky; and his siblings, Rosa Johnson, Glenna Lancaster, Phyllis Taylor and Dempsey.
He is survived by: his siblings, Danny (Madelene) of Orman Beach, FL and Grace Swain of Chesapeake, VA.; his sons, Randy (Cheryl Carpenter) of Moyock, NC and Robert (Catherine) of Gretna, VA.; his stepgranddaughters, Lora Boyd (Will) and Emily McClellen (Patrick); his close friend Lenora Ferrell (Lee); and also, Kit of Atlanta, GA, Liam and Catherine Grace of Roswell, GA.. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
