He is survived by: his wife Ruth "Sweetie" Hobbs; his daughters, Michelle Twiford (F. C.), Christie Bray (Kevin), Sarah Blanchard and Sonya Longest (Tim); his grandchildren, Trenton Twiford (Wesley), Tyler Bray (Michaela), Landon Bray (Raegan), Jaxson Bray, Timothy Longest (Landen) and Celeste Austin (Wes); and his great grandchild Wren Twiford.
A memorial service was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Twiford Funeral Homes (405 E Church St, Elizabeth City, NC 27909). A reception was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
