He was predeceased by: his parents, William Leroy Grandy and Inez Barco Grandy; and his brother William Eldon Grandy. He is survived by: his wife Sheila Kirk Grandy; his son T. Ashley Grandy (Lesli) of Greenville; his grandchildren, Caleb M. Grandy, Karis P. Grandy, Selah K. Grandy and Wyatt E. Grandy; his nephew Buddy Grandy (Ellen); and his great-nephew Tyler Grandy.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Mt. Zion Methodist Church, P. O . Box 648, Grandy, NC 27939.
