He was predeceased by: his parents, Emmett Guyton and Geneva Guyton; his wife Janice Edge Guyton; and his siblings, David, Dural and Jane.
He is survived by: his brother Donald Guyton (Connie); his sister-in-law Sue Guyton; his son Shep Guyton (Kelly); his grandson Austin Guyton (Natalia); his great grandchildren, Addison Harper, Hadley Eloise, Averie May, Quan Luddley, Robert Guyton (Hannah) and Robert Shepherd II (Davis Guyton); and also, Miller Howenstine (John) and Janice. He is also survived by his two children, his five grandchildren and his five great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Elizabethtown Presbyterian Church Columbarium Fund or the Cape Fear Valley Health Foundation.
