He was predeceased by: his parents, Junie Russell McMillan and Josie McKinney McMillan; and his siblings, Russell McMillan, Adell Mercer, Geraldine Griffith, Arthur McMillan, Deana Tharp and John Wayne McMillan.
He is survived by: his wife Brenda Stewart McMillan; his children, Tracy Hodge (Robert), Melissa Britt (Foster) and Brad McMillan; his mother-in-law Sarah Stewart; and his siblings-in-law, Debra Dickens, Anita Mercer (Terry), Dorothy McMillan and Reuben Stewart (Tiffany).
