She was predeceased by: her parents, Prince Elee Hargett and Annie Owens Hargett. She is survived by: her husband Jeff Pope; her son Patrick Maitland (Jennifer) of Fayetteville; her grandchildren, Patrick John Maitland, Jr., Paige Lynn Maitland and Alyssa Lynn Maitland; and her siblings, Evelyn Tyndall of Fayetteville, Lisa McNeill (Robert) of Clinton, Gayle Walters (Bobby) of Fayetteville, Wanda Cassell (Kenn) of Asheboro and Robert Hargett (Tammy) of Salisbury. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Wesley's Chapel of Elizabethtown.
