Iris Cross Obituary

We are sad to announce that on December 29, 2020, at the age of 80, Iris Cross of Elizabethtown, North Carolina, born in Portsmouth, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John Pappas and Mary Pappas; and her sister-in-law Elizabeth Pappas of Portsmouth, VA.. She is survived by: her husband David Cross of White Lake, NC; her son Stephen (Lisa); her grandchildren, Turner and Carter of Rocky Mount, NC; her brother John "Lucky" Pappas of Virginia Beach, VA; her stepdaughter Kelley Cross McCauley (John) of Fayetteville, NC; her stepgrandchildren, Shep and Emma of Charleston, SC; her stepdaughter Crystal Cross; her stepgrandchildren, Scott and Drew Fincher of Fayetteville, NC; her nephew Jerry Pappas of Los Angeles, CA; her niece Mary Elizabeth Pappas Clarkson (Billy Clarkson); and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Anna, Gray and Thomas of St Louis, MO. She is also survived by sisters-in-law and cousins.
