He is survived by: his children, Regina Whitted (John) of Parkton, NC, Joe Christopher Lewis (Michelle) of Stateville, NC and Gregory Lewis (Karen) of Durham, NC; and his sister Ida Lewis of Bladenboro, NC. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren.
