He is survived by: his daughter Stephanie Barnhill (Patrick Neal) of Bunnlevel; his sisters, Sharon Guyton of Elizabethtown, Rose Vernon of Currie and Valerie Morris (Dean) of Bladenboro; and his grandchildren, Ian Thayer (Ruby), Charlotte Thayer, Samantha Neal, Jack Neal and Breanna Neal. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
