He is survived by: his girlfriend Helen Ruth White of Elizabethtown, NC; his son Sheldon Butler of Elizabethtown, NC; and his siblings, Doris Riggins (Anderson) of Dublin, NC, Alice Lesane (Jerry) of Dublin, NC, Elizabeth Hawkins of Dublin, NC, Melissa Markmon of Dublin, NC and Glenn McKoy of Dublin, NC. He is also survived by 2 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild.
