Timothy Cornelius McDowell Obituary

Timothy Cornelius McDowell of Elizabethtown left this world suddenly on Monday, November 25, 2024 at the age of 35. He leaves behind his parents, Libby and David Gore of Archdale, NC, one sister, Felicia McDowell of Alabama, nephew, Tanner McDowell and Aunt, Rhonda Crigger.

Timothy was an outgoing, loveable guy with a big personality. He enjoyed helping others and spent much time volunteering at various locations such as CRCI, Carolina Crossroads, and the Celebrate Recovery Ministry with the Beach Assembly of God Church just to name a few. He was the talented Executive chef at the Cape Fear Vineyard and Winery in Elizabethtown. Cooking was his life, he enjoyed bringing joy and smiles to folks through good food. He also had a love of animals and especially enjoyed the little critters that lived at the winery and their beloved kangaroo Buckey. Timothy left this world with a lasting impression of compassion, determination, and kindness that will not soon be forgotten.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on December 9, 2024 at 11:00 am at The Cape Fear Vineyard and Winery in Elizabethtown.
