With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William Prince (Elizabethtown, North Carolina), who passed away on June 10, 2025 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lola Marie Marcum-Prince and William Prince; his grandmother Effie Marcum; and his brother Howard Lee Prince. He is survived by: his wife Linda Gaskins; his daughters, Katie Tharp (Eddie) and Cassie Gross (Shaun) of Beckley; his granddaughters, Faith, Grace, Belle Tharp and Nicole Gross; his great grandchild Asher Fondas; his stepchildren, Ron Gaskins (Alexandra) of Wausau, Wisconsin and Rhonda Gaskins of Clarkton; and his stepgrandchildren, Emma Eller, Noah, Luke, Jacob and Benjamin Gaskins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Bladen-Gaskins Funeral Home & Cremation Services (3131 M. L. K. Dr, Elizabethtown, NC 28337). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 4:30 PM at the Bladen Memorial Gardens (5381 NC-242, Elizabethtown, NC 28337).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society in honor of his granddaughter, Grace, who is a cancer survivor.
