We are sad to announce that on July 31, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Della Holtsclaw of Elk Park, North Carolina. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
Though Della may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Della touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her husband Jack Holtsclaw; her son John Holtsclaw; and her parents, James Buster Lee and Demple Lee. She is survived by: her children, Steve Holtsclaw (Glenda Watson) of Collettsville, Dianne Gwyn (Randall Thomas) of Banner Elk, Tena Hicks (Phillip) of Elk Park, NC, Sherry Holtsclaw of Elk Park, NC and Alice Owens (Joseph) of Spruce Pine, NC; and her daughter-in-law Esther Holtsclaw.
