With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Phillip Wade Hicks of Elk Park, North Carolina, who passed away on December 4, 2025 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Willet Hicks and Goldie Hicks; and his brothers, Glenn and Harry Hick. He is survived by: his wife Martha Jaynes Hicks; his son Phillip Hicks (Tena); his sister Betty Buchanan (Wayne); his granddaughter Heather Hodges (Kevin); his great grandchildren, Emma Blair and Tenley Hodges; and his grandchildren, Boston Terrier and Abigail.
In lieu of flowers memorials should be made to the Curtis Creek Freewill Baptist Church.
