He is survived by: his wife Brenda Puckett Keen; his children, Shannon Shook (Tommy) of Linville, NC, Brenda Cartwright (Brian), Shelly Beers (Seth) of Monetzuma, NC, Eddie Shook (Patricia) of Newland, NC and Dale Shook (Tammy) of Bakersville, NC; his siblings, Walter Keen (Janet) of Hacienda Heights, CA, Mavis Gaynelle Horn of Newland, NC, Carmie Hobbs of Whitewood, VA and Yvonne Boyd (Jimmy) of Whitewood, VA; his grandchildren, Jessie Carpenter, Jessica Huskins, Dustin Shook, Tori Shook, Samuel Shook and Maranda Nussbaum; and his great grandchildren, Jade, Daniel, Leigha, Colton and Chance. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
