He is survived by: his daughter Claudia Byrd (Dennis Foster); his sisters, Mae Billings Crouse and Shirley Billings Norman; and his grandsons, Darrell Byrd (Heather), Danny Byrd (Zoee) and David Byrd. He is also survived by three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
