He is survived by: his wife Gail; his children, Crystal Lynn Vanhoy of Daven Jeanette and Jonathan David Vanhoy; his stepchildren, Eric Raymond Terry, John Luther Terry and Verna Lenis Terry; his grandchildren, Joel Stacy Jones Jr., Andrew Harrison Jones Jr., Trey Jevon Lomax of Justice Dwight, Lomax, Aamir Kawan Adams and McKenzie Terry; Dylan Terry, Cole Terry and Luke Terry.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 28th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Elkin Funeral Service (560 North Carolina 268 W, Elkin, NC 28621). A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, October 28th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
Donations in his memory can be made to the Jerusalem Prayer Team or the Dementia Alliance of North Carolina.
