She was predeceased by: her parents, Lloyd William Greenwood and Allie Jenkins Greenwood; and her husband Tony Curtis Phillips. She is survived by: her daughter Shannon Phillips Carver; her son-in-law Willie Carver; her son Kenneth Darren Greenwood; her daughter-in-law April Wilmoth Greenwood; her stepchildren, Sandy Johnson (Todd) and Jeff Phillips; her grandchildren, Hannah Elizabeth Handy (Josh) and Sebastian Martin; her stepgrandchildren, Hunter Johnson, Matthew Johnson, Kaili Phillips and Abraham Phillips; her sister Colene; her brother-in-law Jerry Newman; her brother Flynt; and her sister-in-law Tracy Greenwood. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Moody Funeral Services (215 W Kapp St, Dobson, NC 27017). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Fairview Baptist Church (7659 NC-268, Dobson, NC 27017).
