She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Lonnie and Pearl Cox Souther; her son Bob Richardson; her grandson Jason Richardson; and her siblings, Robert Lonnie Souther, Jr., Hort Souther, Zollie Souther Osborne and Myrtle Cleo Souther.
She is survived by: her daughter Barbara D. Richardson of Sparta; her daughter-in-law Barbara P. Richardson of Piney Creek; her granddaughter Karen Sealey (Charlie) of State Road; her great grandchildren, Luke Sealey (Sarah) of Lexington, Brooke Moore (Wesley) of Sparta and Katelyn Elmore (Andrew) of Roaring River; and her sister-in-law Hilda Souther of Elkin. She is also survived by five great-great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Elk Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery (1966 NC-93, Sparta, NC 28675).
