She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Hayes (Rell) and Lena Ray Hayes of North Elkin; her husband Rex R. Cockerham; and her sister Norma E. Goodman. She is survived by: her daughter Darlena C. Goodwin (Alan); her nephew Jeffrey R. Eldridge (Lesa); and her sister Norma Sue.
