It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gary Chilson of Elkin, North Carolina, who passed away on June 17, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. For though he may have departed from our sight, his spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Chilson and Geraldine Chilson of Waverly; his brother Gerald Chilson; and his grandson Anthony Chilson. He is survived by: his wife Irene; his children, Timothy Chilson (Robyn), Scott Chilson (Debra) and Terry Lynn Chilson of Lockwood, NY; his grandson Michael Chilson (Bethany) of Alburqueque, NM; and his sister Gail Felczak of Waverly, NY. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Viewing will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Mill Creek Christian Church (747 Mill Creek Church Rd, Four Oaks, NC 27524). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
