We are sad to announce that, on December 19, 2025, at the age of 91, Johnny Reed (Elkin, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe W. Reed and Grace Issacs Reed; his wife Emma Dean Sherfey Reed; and his siblings, Lester Glenn Reed and Dorothy Reed Potter.
He is survived by: his son Tim Reed (Phyllis); his grandsons, Andy (Julie) and Mike (LeAnna); his great grandchildren, Jordan, Owen, Brady and Adelyn; and his siblings, Bill Reed and Margie Haas.
Flowers will be accepted, or memorials may be made to the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Hill Project.
