She was predeceased by: her parents, Olivia Charlotte Asby and Alton Roland Morris; and her siblings, Dorothy M. Smith, Sharon M. Stone, Betty Lou M. Siehl, Larry Morris and Pete Morris.
She is survived by: her children, Cecil Lawrence (Margaret) of Elkin, NC, Debbie Hege (Danny) of New Port Richie, FL, Donna Lyon (Perry) of Ronda, NC, Doughton Lawrence (David Dunaway) of Chicago, IL and Barry Lawrence of Elkin, NC; her sisters, Joan A. Padgett of Washington, NC and Patricia M. Woolard of Washington, NC; and her husband Winfred Doughton Lawrence, Sr.. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.
