She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd Hampton Mankins and Connie Stuart Mankins; her husband Larry Dobson; and her brother Floyd Mankins. She is survived by: her children, Jeff Dobson (Vianey) and Tonya Dobson; her sisters, Edith Thompson (Donald) and Cathy Drumgold (Bobby); her grandchildren, Meka and Dakota Dobson (Maegan); her great grandchildren, Eli Dobson, Blayden Dobson, Russ Dobson and Easton Ayers; her close friend Pam Walker; and her nephew Ronell Choate (Sonda Dobson).
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, June 27th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Pleasant Union Missionary Baptist Church (132 Reely Cook Rd, Dobson, NC 27017). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
