She was predeceased by: her parents, Genaro Batalla and Tulia Zaragosa Batalla; and her husband Frank Young. She is survived by: her son Frankie Young (Lori) of Elkin; and her grandchildren, Jonathan Young and Bailey Young. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family suggest that memorials be made to Mountain Valley Hospice or to the charity of the donor's choice.
