He is survived by: his daughter Carolyn Byrd; his daughter-in-law Christine Baker of Mosely, Virginia; his brother Johnny Baker of Thomasville; his half-siblings, Maynard Reynolds (Shirley) of State Road, Idesta Lyon (Joe) of Elkin, Maxine Wagoner of Roaring River, Ruth Gregory of Elkin, Ruby Hawkins (Jim) of Thurmond and Cathy Collins (Eddie) of Wilkesboro; his sister-in-law Jolene Reynolds of North Wilkesboro; and his grandchildren, Shawna Bryce (Jay) of Mars Hill, Leah Mainard (Warren) of Issaquah, Rebekah Byrd (Alex) of Marshall, Adam Lyon (Theresa) of Burlington, David Lyon (Megan) of Graham, Hannah Jones (Kyle) of Graham, Daniel Lyon and Lauren Horton (Jeff) of Fuquay Varina.
