She was predeceased by: her parents, Franklin Delano and Dorothy Martin Simmons; her sister Peggy Simmons Slawter; and her niece Brittany Leigh Slawter. She is survived by: her husband Harold "Peegie" Wagoner; her daughter Daniyel Lynn Kennedy-Bates (Toddy) of State Road; her grandson Parker Bates; her sister Susan Simmons Worth (Bobby) of Mount Airy; her brother-in-law Mike Slawter; and her nieces and nephews, Presley Macemore (Dustin) of State Road, Ryan Worth of Charlotte, Sydney Worth (Zachary Morris) of Charlotte, Kolsen Macemore and Emorie Macemore.
Flowers will be accepted, and the family requests that memorials be made to First Baptist Church, Elkin, 110 Gwyn Ave, Elkin, NC 28621.
