She is survived by: her mother Elaine Staley Bumgarner of North Wilkesboro, NC; her husband Earl Burgess Jr.; her children, Ross Burgess of Waynesville, NC, Laura Burgess Daly (Niland) of Winston-Salem, NC and Beau Burgess of Tryon, NC; her granddaughter Merritt Lynne Daly of Winston-Salem, NC; her brother Dan Bumgarner (Lisa) of Millers Creek, NC; her parents-in-law, Earl Sr. and Sylvia Burgess of North Wilkesboro, NC; and her siblings-in-law, Denise, Randall Millsaps of Union Grove, NC, Belinda and Daniel Billings of Traphill, NC. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
