She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest B. Hudson and Ola Chipman Hudson. She is survived by: her husband Charles H. Cooper; her children, Dan Cooper of Elkin, Donna Chilton (Gary) of Pilot Mountain and Mary Paradis of Kernersville; her grandchildren, Chris Chilton, Paul Chilton, Matthew Paradis (Lisa), Jessica Paradis, Megan Millard (Robert), Robbie Cooper and Grace Harrison; and her great grandchildren, Aaron Marshall, Celeste Paradis, Nick Millard, Colton Chilton, Austin Millard and Ethan Millard. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
